A regular panel member on NPR’s Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me, Alonzo Bodden has been making audiences around the country laugh for more than 20 years.

In August 2019, Alonzo starred in his fourth stand-up special, Alonzo Bodden: Heavy Lightweight, which premiered exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. In the special, he touches upon a range of topics from slavery, cell phones and the #MeToo movement, to millennials, Kanye West and Taco Bell.

Alonzo’s first big comedy break came when he was on the “New Faces of Comedy” showcase at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. However, it was as the season three winner of NBCʼs Last Comic Standing, where Alonzo was first introduced to America. Since then, he has starred in two comedy specials for Showtime: Historically Incorrect and Who’s Paying Attention. His television appearances include ABC’s Dr. Ken and Fresh Off the Boat, Dr. Phil, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Comedy Central’s The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore and Californication.

A car and motorcycle aficionado, Alonzo hosted Speed Channel’s 101 Cars You Must Drive and America’s Worst Driver on the Travel Channel. He’s also joined Jay Leno for several off-road trips on his CNBC series Jay Leno’s Garage. Alonzo was a field correspondent on Animal Nation with Anthony Anderson, and a contributor on the Science Channel’s How to Build Everything.

Alonzo released his fifth comedy CD titled Man Overboard in 2018. He currently hosts the podcast Who’s Paying Attention? (part of All Things Comedy) where he gives his unique take on what’s going on in the world.

One of Hollywood’s fastest rising young talents, Jermaine Fowler can be seen in “Coming 2 America” starring as Lavelle alongside Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, Leslie Jones and a host of other A-
list actors. The film is a sequel to the 1988 hit comedy “Coming to America.” “Coming 2 America” is directed by Craig Brewer and written by Kenya Barris and Barry W. Blaustein. 
 
In 2017, Fowler starred in and executive produced CBS’s Comedy “Superior Donuts.” Created by Bob Daily, Garrett Donovan and Neil Goldman, “Superior Donuts” is about an old-school doughnut shop owner Arthur, his spunky young employee and aspiring artist, Franco, and their friends and patrons keep the shop going in a changing culturally mixed inner city Chicago neighborhood. Fowler starred in the series alongside Emmy Award-winner Judd Hirsch, David Koechner, Maz Jobrani and Katey Segal. 
 
On the big screen, Fowler acted opposite Lakeith Stanfield in 2018’s “Sorry to Bother You” Which was also directed and written by Stanfield. Fowler portrayed Salvador in the comedy-drama film alongside Terry Crews, Omari Hardwick, Tessa Thompson, Danny Glover, and Armie hammer. Produced by Forest Whitaker, the film made its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2018. 
 
In 2014 Fowler co-created and starred in the truTV sketch-comedy series “Friends of the People.” The following year, he starred in his own SHOWTIME special “Give ‘Em Hell Kid.” His additional television credits include “Crashing,” produced by Judd Apatow, “Robot Chicken,” “BoJack Horseman,” the “All That” revival which he also executive produced and the 69th ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS, for which Fowler was the on-camera announcer.

PLAYLAND conjures a time-bending night in Boston’s oldest and most notorious gay bar. Featuring an eclectic ensemble of queer performers, including drag icon Lady Bunny and POSE’s Danielle Cooper, the transdisciplinary film sees music, dance, archival footage, tableaux, opera, and performance art layered into an ethereal piece subverting all boundaries. The work of queer fantasy and history takes place inside the empty husk of the Playland Café. Although the cafe shut down in the late ’90s, PLAYLAND stages one last bawdy night on the town for the ghosts of their LGBTQ+ ancestors.

James Adomian is a comedian and actor who is well known for his characters and impressions. Born in Harare, Zimbabwe, throughout his childhood, Alfred Kainga developed a comedic talent and was known for making family and friends erupt in laughter.  He later moved to the United States in 2001 and began his comedy career in 2005, in the highly competitive, Dallas, TX comedy scene.  Alfred has achieved much success in the world of comedy throughout a short span of time.  He was a Semi-Finalist in the 2014 Shaq All-Star Comedy Competition and a Finalist in the Funniest Comic in Texas Competition in 2014 and 2016. Alfred Kainga made his television debut in 2017 on Comedy Central, performing in Kevin Hart’s “Hart of the City”.   Alfred has toured and performed with some of the biggest names in comedy, including, Bruce Bruce, Bill Bellamy and Michael Colyer.
He tours regularly with the New York,  King of Comedy, Capone when he's not headlining shows on his own.  Alfred is a staple feature at Comedy Clubs across the country and has toured in colleges and universities across the US.  Most recently, Alfred has taken his “Funny from A to Z” brand of comedy global, performing in several countries, including, St. Maarten, the Bahamas, Mexico, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, South Africa , Jamaica , Canada and England.  He has received rave reviews from fans all across the globe.  Alfred’s comedy is universal and entertains all fans from various backgrounds.

Emil Wakim is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer based in Brooklyn, NY. Emil was born and raised in Chicago before moving to Bloomington, Indiana for college where he began performing stand-up.

This fall, he joined the cast of Saturday Night Live for its milestone 50th season as the first Lebanese- American cast member.
